Position Summary:

As a Business Development Manager, you will drive the growth of Penhall Company's services and secure new projects in your target market. This role is vital for fostering and maintaining strong client relationships to enhance our market presence and achieve revenue targets. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, focusing on large-scale projects and key accounts. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market share. Establish and nurture relationships with key clients to ensure ongoing business and partnerships. Achieve annual sales volume targets of $5M - $8M. Collaborate with Account Managers to align efforts and share leads within designated scopes. Ensure excellent service through effective client management and addressing their concerns. Build a strong professional network to enhance business opportunities. Oversee the complete sales process from initial contact to contract negotiations and securing deals. Work with internal teams to meet client expectations and ensure timely project execution. Partner with leadership to create tailored business development strategies for the local market. Leverage market insights to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages. Balance immediate project needs with long-term business goals strategically. Engage closely with operational teams to align sales with capabilities. Enhance Penhall Company's brand visibility and market penetration through collaboration with marketing. Facilitate seamless project transitions from sales to execution through cross-functional teamwork. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, adjusting strategies as necessary. Provide regular updates to leadership regarding sales activities and market conditions. Attend trade shows and networking events to promote our services. Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market changes. Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management. Position Requirements: Strong sales and business development skills with a focus on large projects and long-lasting client relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and influencing clients. Strategic mentality with the ability to manage both immediate sales and long-term goals effectively. Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, especially in construction or related industries. Proven success in securing large-scale projects and managing key accounts.
