Job Responsibilities: Create applicable Standard Operating Procedures as required. Design network architectures per applicable DoD guidance. Coordinate and document changes to network configuration and topology. Install and maintain software and hardware, control current versions and future releases of applications software, and document the physical configuration of information systems. Optimize the functionality of networks and systems, diagnose and recover failed systems. Install, configure, test, and implement vendor-supplied modifications to existing systems software while applying and implementing applicable federal network security standards. Advise and assist customers; troubleshoot complex problems; and provide support to minimize interruptions in critical business activities. Design, engineer, and install network infrastructure; engineer and implement equipment reallocations; provide PC and hardware maintenance; provide interim system communications assistance. Required Skills: Extensive experience in Information Technology or related areas. Experience maintaining and securing supported operating systems. Obtain and maintain MCSA certification within the first 6 months of reporting. Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or CISSP certification. Proficiency with MS Visio, ACAS scanning software, Wireshark, VMware ESX 5.5/6.0, and other listed tools and systems. Knowledge of DoD security standards and certifications such as IAT Level II, GSEC, Security+, etc. Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
