This position involves delivering products to stores on established routes or via dynamic dispatch to various retail outlets such as convenience stores, gas stations, small supermarkets, and drug stores, with an average of 15-20 stops per day. The driver is responsible for unloading products, stocking shelves, building displays, and setting up promotional materials like signs and banners. The role includes generating invoices and handling daily cash and charge settlements, with frequent interactions with store management.
Physical Requirements:
This job is labor-intensive, requiring lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds multiple times a day. It involves reaching, squatting, bending, and working in diverse weather conditions. During peak seasons, long hours may be necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver products, serve customers, and execute promotions at multiple stores daily.
Operate trucks requiring a valid CDL license, including basic driving and maneuvering in tight spaces.
Ensure all scheduled customers are serviced by the end of each shift.
Merchandise and rotate products according to local standards, including building displays and removing outdated items.
Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and breakdowns to move products.
Establish positive relationships with store contacts.
Follow operating procedures and safety regulations, including DOT regulations.
Maintain reliable and predictable attendance.
