Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily workflow and the performance of all patient services in the diagnostic section of the Radiology department on the respective shift.
Assists the departmental managers in the workflow coordination and supervision of employees in the absence of a supervisor or manager.
The Team Leader works with management to assist staff with the performance of duties, educational programs, orientation and the ongoing training of employees.
Serves as a liaison between the team and management.
Identifies opportunities to improve patient safety, services and operational workflow.
Participates in projects and programs designed to reduce error and improve safety.
This position reports to the Supervisor, Radiology.
