Mechanical Service
Sales Executive OR Senior Sales Executive
role involves growing Siemens' market share by delivering smart mechanical services that reduce operating costs, improve uptime, and ensure healthy indoor environments. You will achieve booking and profit goals by developing and managing end-user relationships, capitalizing on sales opportunities, and independently winning opportunities within established guidelines. Senior Sales Executives serve as the face of Siemens, leveraging their expertise and customer interactions to promote energy savings, cost reduction, and sustainability. As a Mechanical Service Sales Executive, you will: Achieve new order/booking and profit goals based on your quota. Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, forecast expected orders, and deliver results. Understand the marketplace, competitors, customers, and decision influencers across the region and segments. Create a market and account management plan focusing on strategic growth and new business opportunities. Act as a consultant to customer organizations, understanding their challenges and recommending services to optimize building system performance. Participate in industry networking events and professional organizations like ASHRAE, AEE, or USGBC. Consult with customers on budgeting and investment needs. Position Siemens as an industry leader, leveraging digital service delivery as a differentiator. Collaborate internally to ensure excellent customer outcomes. Spend at least 50% of time in customer-facing activities, including on-site visits. Support existing customers and prospect new ones, with approximately 10% overnight travel for training and business development.
Qualifications: Basic: High school diploma or GED. 3+ years in estimating, engineering, project management, or selling HVAC systems. Ability to read design and construction documents. Excellent communication skills in English. Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel 10% overnight. Valid driver's license with limited violations; 21+ years old. Legally authorized to work in the US.
Preferred: Associate or bachelors degree. Experience installing and servicing HVAC equipment. Experience selling HVAC service agreements and retrofit projects. Knowledge of local building markets and networking contacts. Experience in relevant vertical markets. Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
