Responsibilities The Nurse Manager is responsible for the overall functioning of the Nursing Department. As a Registered Nurse, they are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse assists with the achievement of patient outcomes through implementation of critical pathways and in accordance with the mission of the hospital. Responsibilities: Assesses, plans, evaluates, and ensures the implementation of the patient's pathway to achieve identified outcomes Assumes a leadership role in the provision of quality nursing care for patients within the nursing department Demonstrates continued competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals based on age-specific needs using a developmental perspective Demonstrates knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for the position Supervises the smooth functioning of the unit on the assigned shift Performs all other duties as assigned Qualifications Current Licensure in the State Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course CNOR preferred Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and/or BSN, Master's degree in Nursing/Management preferred Salary range: USD $68,000.00/Yr. - USD $88,000.00/Yr.
