Responsibilities
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the overall functioning of the Nursing Department (PreOp PACU Nurse Manager). As a Registered Nurse, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge. You will assist with the achievement of patient outcomes through the implementation of critical pathways and in accordance with the hospital's mission. Responsibilities: Assess, plan, evaluate, and ensure the implementation of the patient's pathway to achieve identified outcomes Assume a leadership role in providing quality nursing care for patients within the nursing department Demonstrate competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals based on age-specific needs using a developmental perspective Show appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills for the position Supervise the smooth functioning of the unit during assigned shifts Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications Current licensure in the state Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course CNOR preferred Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and/or BSN, Master's degree in Nursing/Management preferred Salary range: USD $90,000.00/Yr. - USD $110,000.00/Yr.
