Overview
CVP is seeking an experienced Data Analyst - Senior to support healthcare transformation initiatives within the Federal Health Sector. The Data Analyst will work with CVP teams and federal healthcare clients to obtain data through advanced computerized models, develop data patterns through advanced algorithms, and present analytical insights to support business decision-making. This role requires in-depth knowledge of VHA Systems and files to support data analysis and reporting for Veterans Health Administration healthcare programs. Responsibilities
Obtain data through advanced computerized models Extrapolate data patterns through advanced algorithms Develop simple graphs and charts to explain how mathematical information will influence specific projects or business initiatives Present to managers how to best alter their business models to generate profitable future trends Utilize in-depth knowledge of VHA Systems and files for data analysis Work with Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW), Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA), VHA Support Service Center (VSSC), and VHA Reports and Measurement Portal (RAMP) Analyze data from Patient Treatment File (PTF) (MedSAS), Managerial Cost Accounting (MCA) System, Primary Care Management Module (PCMM), and The National Patient Care Database (NPCD) Work with Veterans Services Network Corporate Mini Master File (VETSNET File) and other VHA systems Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university 8+ years of experience in data analysis or related field Experience obtaining data through advanced computerized models Experience extrapolating data patterns through advanced algorithms Experience developing graphs and charts to explain mathematical information Experience presenting analytical findings to management Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to obtain a US Security Public Trust Clearance Ability to work without sponsorship in the US indefinitely Desired Skills: Experience with VHA healthcare data analysis In-depth knowledge of VHA Systems and files Healthcare transformation analytics experience About CVP
