HR Benefits Administrator

PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing company, has been given an opportunity to assist a top employer in Fort Myers to find their HR Benefits Administrator. We are seeking a strong Benefits Coordinator that has a minimum of 5 years experience in Benefits. Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Pay Rate: $25-27/Hr. Location: Fort Myers Experience: 5+ years HR Benefits Coordinator Job Responsibilities Responsible for the HRIS Benefit dashboard and employee communications and reminders regarding enrollment and life event changes Respond in a timely manner to employees' questions about their benefits; provide employees with available resources and work with vendors as needed to aid in and troubleshoot issues. Manage the payment processing of all monthly benefit plan invoices, including auditing each month for accuracy. Participate in the annual Open Enrollment process, including selecting benefits, training, and communications. Responsible for the administration and tracking of employee leave of absence, temporary disability leave, ADA, and work accommodation requests by company policy and state and federal laws. Responsible for timely, accurate, and clear communication with employees and managers at all stages of the leave process to ensure full understanding and compliance. Work with Managers HR Director, and legal as needed on leave denials, terminations, or to resolve issues that arise on more complicated leaves. Manage the return to work process of all medical leave of absence by ensuring medical releases are received and the HRIS system is updated correctly. Send termination packet for 401k and voluntary benefits COBRA Administration Oversee and maintain ACA date to ensure all information is accurate and 1095s are processed Mandatory annual benefit reporting Other duties assigned. HR Generalist Job Qualifications Problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies, especially benefits Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems when necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
