Salesforce Administrator at PTR Premier Truck Rental. Premier Truck Rental (PTR) is a family-owned company providing customized commercial fleet rentals nationwide, headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As the Salesforce Administrator, you will support our Salesforce efforts by collaborating with the business on diverse projects with a focus on growth. You will lead the customization and long-term management of our Salesforce environment, drive user adoption, ensure smooth implementation of system enhancements, and enable our teams to scale efficiently with Salesforce as our central system of record. Location : On-site in Fort Wayne, IN Responsibilities
Serve as the administrator on all new Salesforce-related projects and work closely with SMEs across business units. Partner with stakeholders and implementation partners to configure, customize, and enhance our Salesforce suite (including Sales Cloud and Revenue Cloud). Recommend and design solutions that improve user experience, expand platform utilization, and align with business strategy. Build and manage objects, fields, workflows, page layouts, validation rules, approval processes, and user roles/profiles. Oversee data migration, sandbox testing, and go-live readiness. Manage system health, issue resolution, and enhancements; oversee maintenance of connected integrations. Maintain clean, accurate data through audits, deduplication, and validation routines. Manage user provisioning, permissions, profiles, and licenses; stay aware of Salesforce updates to minimize user impact. Build reports and dashboards to support visibility across sales, customer operations, marketing, and leadership; automate repetitive tasks and approval workflows to improve efficiency. Act as internal Salesforce expert and help desk; partner with Sales Enablement to create training materials and drive system adoption. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, IT, and Operations; support integrations with third-party tools (e.g., Fleetwave, Dynamics365, ZoomInfo, SalesWings). Qualifications
MUST HAVE
35 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, specifically partnering with Sales and Marketing teams. Proven experience innovating or scaling Salesforce in a fast-paced business environment. Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201 or ADM211). Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data management, and automation capabilities. Experience with data loaders and other data transformation tools (e.g., Data Wizard). Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support non-technical users. High proficiency with SharePoint and MS Office Suite. NICE TO HAVE
Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Developer certifications. Experience in high-growth or mid-market B2B environments. Familiarity with Salesforce products (Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.) and integrations. Experience integrating Salesforce with business applications (e.g., Fleetwave, Dynamics365, ZoomInfo, SalesWings). Knowledge of SOQL, Flow Builder, or Apex. Location/Hours
