$52.58 - $57.23 per hour Job Description The CT Technologist Contrast IV performs routine radiographic and interventional radiographic procedures in accordance with the technologist training and license. Prepares and administers oral contrast for patient consumption. Prepares and maintains records and files as required. Responsibilities Performs CT/routine radiographic procedures Participates in interventional procedures Prepares and administers oral contrast media for patient consumption Observes patients during examinations Produces radiographs of designated portions of the body in accordance with physician's order Ensures proper functioning of equipment Cleans equipment and makes minor adjustments as necessary
Requirements
Prior experience as a radiological technologist required Associate's Degree preferred Formal radiological technologic training from an accredited school Previous experience as a Radiology Tech preferred Previous experience with PACS, RIS, EMR, CR, OR, ER, DRX, CT and Meditech preferred Valid NYS Radiological Technologist license, ARRT (CT certification) and DOH license injection privileges required
