Job Title

Provide web development support for Workforce & Economic Development websites and program web pages. Assist Marketing Coordinator and Manager with ongoing website updates and new web development tasks and special projects. Perform web-based updates and support staff across the Workforce & Economic Development division. Essential Duties & Responsibilities & Knowledge Skills & Abilities

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft. Communicate and collaborate effectively and display strong interpersonal skills. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure websites function correctly across various devices and browsers. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to websites, servers, or databases. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities. Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Four (4) to Six (6) years of experience in web development or technical support, including maintaining websites and troubleshooting issues. Technical Skills: Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic knowledge of frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery). Familiarity with content management systems (CMS). Experience with web development tools. Preferred Qualifications

Two (2) years of post-high school education (60 credit hours/associate degree). Preference is given to candidates who have previous experience in web development and IT environments.
