The CT Technologist will obtain quality diagnostic CT images for interpretation by the radiologist. Assists with clerical duties and possesses knowledge of computer systems RIS and PACS. Key Accountabilities
Produces and evaluates images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of imaging exams and patients for treatment and plan of care. Adheres to image-specific policies regarding patient safety established by Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, regulatory, and accrediting bodies. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) imaging using knowledge of instrumentation, ionizing radiation (with emphasis on low dose), cross-sectional anatomy, and technology to produce quality CT images for interpretation by a Radiologist. Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion, or equivalent. Completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program. Registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) in both radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) with licensure by the Florida Department of Health, Office of Radiation Control. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association. Advanced knowledge of computer applications (RIS and PACS). Auditory and visual acuity to perform imaging tests; manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment and computer applications. Details
Location: St. Petersburg, FL Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 a.m.7:30 p.m. / Monday, 7:00 p.m.7:30 a.m. Status: Full-Time (36 hours per week) Salary Range: Minimum $30.19/hour Maximum $48.30/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
