Media/Influencer Relations Maintain strong relationships with more than ten key media across business and tech industries Identify new media opportunities for clients and share findings with teams and across the agency Regular proactive pitches that generate coverage for the whole team Coach junior staff to improve team performance Leverage social media channels to engage and support efforts Measure the ROI of communications activities Engage with social media influencers and manage content campaigns and coverage amplification Client service/management: manage projects from concept through execution Monitor competitors and flag opportunities or relevant news events Own and direct client PR calls; provide counsel on media opportunities under various circumstances Develop quarterly campaigns and PR plans, including creative campaigns, trendscapes and thought leadership topics Own key PR program elements (analysts, speaking engagements, content, etc.) Be a reliable go-to resource for client contacts and manage budgets Participate in media training with clients and develop key messages Write and edit plans, press releases, fact sheets, backgrounders, biographies, briefing books, contributed articles, speaking abstracts, pitches, Q&As, and related materials Develop consistent, creative, successful pitches Participate in new business processes including research and pitches Attend networking events and encourage team participation Lead by example with a respectful, enthusiastic, professional attitude Mentor junior staff to elevate development Proactively set quarterly goals with manager and track progress Prioritize responsibilities by impact, timelines and client goals Drive projects forward independently and ensure follow-through Identify areas for self-improvement and bring solutions to management Meet deadlines and communicate timelines effectively Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in an agency or startup environment, with involvement in innovative campaigns Strong writing and storytelling ability; exceptional communication skills Experience with cybersecurity or technology clients Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams Extensive media contacts in business and tech press Ability to develop and execute PR plans and campaigns Seniority and Employment Type
