$20K Sign on Bonus Must have ARDMS in BR Position Purpose
As a Sonographer, you will work in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care in a clinic or practice environment. A Sonographer is expected to use imaging equipment and soundwaves to form images of various parts of the body. What You Will Do
Perform general sonography, capable of scanning large and small parts Perform diagnostic sonographic imaging and interventional procedures Produce real-time images of optimal quality accurately and proficiently, following appropriate protocols for each exam. Knowledgeable in the proper use of PACS and RIS systems in accordance with set protocols and manufacturer recommendations Demonstrate thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy (normal, variant, and pathological states) Practice proper sterile technique and adhere to infection control guidelines Set up rooms and prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures Acquire and analyze sonographic images Perform administrative duties and office tests Minimum Qualifications
ARDMS certification required BLS certification required For those working in the Women's Center Breast, ARDMS certification is required Graduate of an approved ultrasound school; ability to produce diagnostically acceptable examinations Benefits
