Responsibilities
In keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center's healthcare philosophy, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for specific radiographic procedures as required.
Qualifications
Minimum
One year of clinical experience.
X-ray only with less than 5 years of experience.
No competency or certification in other imaging modalities or less than 2 years of experience with certification or competency in a second modality.
CT, XRT; BLS certification.
Preferred
Associate Degree preferred.
ARRT certification in CT.
Willing to learn mammography or have mammography experience.
Periodic Saturday shifts during high volume times.
