Join to apply for the CT Technologist role in the CT Scan Department. Part Time 24-Hours Day Shift. Location: Putnam, CT. Day Kimball Health is hiring for a CT Technologist for the CT Scan Department Part Time 24-Hours Day Shift job in Putnam, CT. Responsibilities
Performs a variety of CT exams related to the field, including invasive procedures and IV insertion. Explain the procedure to the patient. Set, adjust, manipulate, control and maintain a variety of complex electronic equipment to apply ionizing radiation to patients for diagnosis of disease. Administer prescribed contrast media according to established guidelines. Assist in interventional CT exams. Education and Experience
Completed two years of an approved Radiological Technology Program required. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required. A current license in the State of Connecticut is required. CT Registered and an active State of Connecticut CT License is required. Maintaining appropriate CEUs to meet ARRT guidelines is required. CPR - Current AHA Healthcare Provider Certification / equivalent within 3 months of hire is required. Approved contrast injection training according to the D.I. Medical Director is required. Minimum of 1-year practical experience performing related duties as a CT technologist including IV insertion is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Computer skills: Mainframe system entry, Teleradiology system. High degree of technical aptitude with an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Benefits
