About This Role
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong understanding of Enterprise Sales, Business Development, and relationship building with senior management in the Energy Services and Energy Management sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of acquiring large accounts and new logos, driving growth through innovative approaches to customer acquisition. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-established company with a dynamic, start-up atmosphere.
This is a remote position responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. The primary focus will be on generating new business in large national accounts across sectors such as Banking, Healthcare, Retail, and Restaurants.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the sales process from prospecting, stakeholder mapping, negotiating, to closing multi-year contracts
Identify and close deals with Fortune 500 companies within assigned account territories
Engage with senior management to understand their needs and present tailored solutions
Collaborate with engineering and presales teams to customize solutions and engage customers consultatively
Coordinate with Facilities, Construction, Energy, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams during negotiations and contracts
Maintain weekly sales reports and detailed account plans for key pursuits
Develop strategies with internal teams for account pursuits and solution development
Work effectively with global teams across different time zones
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Sales
Master's degree with 7+ years of experience in Enterprise Sales
At least 5 years of experience with Building IoT, Energy, and Sustainability Solutions
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven success in closing large, complex deals with Fortune 500 companies
Basic understanding of Building Controls, Energy Management, HVAC, Predictive Asset Management, IoT, and AI technologies
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
High business acumen and strategic thinking
Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments
