Job Summary
Were looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join a cross-functional Agile team. In this role, youll provide leadership in Quality Engineering, drive test automation best practices, and ensure we deliver high-quality software solutions. Youll design and maintain automation frameworks, write clean and reusable test code, and collaborate with teammates to build reliable, customer-focused software. Beyond automation, youll partner with the team to understand requirements, perform exploratory testing when needed, and help improve quality processes across our Agile Release Train (ART). Main Roles and Responsibilities
Lead quality engineering initiatives, collaborating with engineers, product owners, and QA teams. Own test strategy, planning, framework implementation, and execution across squad and tribe levels. Build and maintain high-quality, reusable test automation for mobile, web, and API applications. Develop structured automated and exploratory tests using modern tools and frameworks. Write and manage test cases in test management tools, ensuring coverage and traceability. Investigate and reproduce software issues, analyze data, and work with the team to resolve problems efficiently. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 47+ years of experience in test automation engineering. Hands-on experience with test automation for mobile apps, web apps, and APIs. Experience with GitHub or other code repositories. Familiarity with ALM tools such as VersionOne or Quality Center. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Concourse, CircleCI). Solid understanding of internet protocols, web proxies, caching, and web fundamentals. Proficient in SQL and comfortable working in Agile environments. Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Accessibility testing experience and familiarity with the SAFe framework. Cloud technology experience and relevant Quality Engineering certifications.
