AdventHealth Tampa AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, womens services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine, and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and transitional year. It is home to the AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, a leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and research for over 35 years. The Kiran C. Patel Research Institute at AdventHealth Tampa leads in clinical and academic research in neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, and more. The role youll contribute: Performs a wide range of technical skills during Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology, or Interventional Radiology procedures to ensure efficient, comfortable, and safe patient examinations. Proficient in angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring, adhering to departmental and hospital policies and standards. Actively participates in customer service and maintains respectful relationships. The value youll bring to the team: Follows CDC guidelines, uses PPE appropriately, and performs hand hygiene. Prepares patients using aseptic technique. Ensures safety and regulatory compliance. Meets annual competencies. Verifies orders, communicates with physicians, administers treatments and medications, and responds to clinical emergencies. Evaluates interventions' effectiveness and performs within the scope of practice for Cardiovascular Interventional Technologists. Maintains accurate medical records, ensuring security and following procedures for amendments. Performs in all procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) in cardiac or electrophysiology labs. Takes call as scheduled, responding within 30-45 minutes. Upgrades skills, supervises team members, and assists in training new staff. Qualifications The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed: Associate Degree required Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist (RTR), Respiratory Therapist (RRT), RCIS, RCES, CVIT certifications required
