Demonstrate strong knowledge and skills in all aspects of Transfusion Medicine, including immunohematology, management of transfusion products, apheresis, stem cell collection and processing, coagulation, and regulatory compliance. Join the growing practice and contribute to patient care, educational, and scholarly activities. Coverage includes after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call activities for therapeutic apheresis, blood bank/transfusion, coagulation services, and the clinical laboratory. Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, engage in scholarly activities, work in a team-oriented manner, and undertake leadership responsibilities as needed. Qualifications
MD, DO, or equivalent degree Board-certified or board-eligible in clinical pathology and transfusion medicine Eligible for Arizona medical licensure and academic rank at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine Experience in all aspects of clinical transfusion medicine practice, including immunohematology, transfusion service, cellular therapy, apheresis, and laboratory and clinical coagulation On-call coverage after hours, weekends, and holidays for therapeutic apheresis, blood bank/transfusion, coagulation services, and the clinical laboratory Benefits & Conditions
