Health Learning Facilitator (Finance)
Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires a bachelor's degree in nursing, Nutrition, Dietetics, Health Education, Public Health, or other related health fields with at least one year of experience in a professional training position; or an associate's degree in nursing and licensure as a Registered Nurse with at least three years of experience in a professional training role. A master's degree in public health education or related fields is preferred. Some grants and programs may have specific education and certification requirements (e.g., Certified Diabetes Educator - CDE, CPR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a certified pump trainer for all insulin pumps. Certified Diabetes device trainer for at least 3 years.

CDCES and certified pump trainer.

Collaborate with providers to develop care plans, evaluate patients, and provide education and training, including post-pump start support and documentation.
Maintain guidance documents for diabetes technology operation, manage supplies, and support in-clinic device data uploads.
Respond to patient communications regarding diabetes technologies, excluding prescriptions and insurance issues.
Contribute to the Diabetes Technology Research Program, including device training, data uploading, and recruitment.
Participate in staff meetings and conferences to improve diabetes services.
Handle billing documentation, maintain billing records, and submit invoices for reimbursement.
