Here at Gulfeagle we are "Building a Career for YOU" Benefits Coordinator JOB SUMMARY: The Benefits Coordinator position is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefit programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending plan, and the 401(k) plan). Provide excellent customer service and quality benefit plans. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations regarding benefits administration including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, Section 125, and others as applicable Initiate and manage health benefit monthly and open enrollments. Implements new benefit programs; arranges and conducts employee information presentations and enrollments. Resolves discrepancies relating to employee coverages and payroll deductions. Reviews and reconciles reports between internal systems and carriers to ensure accuracy and consistency of benefit data. Verifies the calculation of the monthly premiums statements for all group insurance policies. Resolves administrative problems with the carrier representatives Analyzes data warnings and errors between carrier and Human Resources System. Makes appropriate corrections to maintain accuracy between systems. Ensures regular interaction with employees, insurance companies, and broker to support health benefits as well as works with vendor partners to ensure clear communication and excellent service to organization. Maintain system for benefit administration. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Well organized person with strong administrative and good interpersonal skills. A person who is very dependable, and who can work independently.
