Preop and PACU! DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW: This unit has a highly experienced team that prepares and recovers adult and pediatric patients for the operating rooms. Our unit supports the main level 1 trauma OR at Baystate Medical Center which includes seventeen operating rooms. This is a high acuity, fast paced, patient focused, and collaborative environment. 80 total prep/recovery bays. 60 new bays built and 20 pre-existing The Nurse Managers responsibilities are centralized within five major areas: Clinical Practice and Quality Outcomes, Human Resource Leadership, Management of the Environment, Financial Growth and Stewardship, and Strategic Planning. Generous compensation package, CME Allowance and time, high quality, low cost medical/dental, robust paid time off. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BSN Required, Masters Preferred. Certified Registered Nurse Operating Room (CAPA or CPAN) preferred. Experience: At least five years RN experience, supervisor/leadership experience required. Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Current American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider certification required. YOU BELONG HERE.
