Facilitate operative or other invasive procedures by preparing and providing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment. Maintain the sterile field while anticipating and responding to the needs of the surgical team. CSTs are also expected to participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continued education. Job Requirements Minimum Education:
Completion of an approved Surgical Technology Program Minimum Work Experience:
No previous experience required Required Licenses/Certifications:
CPR-BCLS, Surgical Technologist Certification Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Ability to work effectively with hospital personnel, advocate for quality and cost-effective care, maintain professional appearance, handle confidential information
