Our client in Bergen County, NJ is looking to hire an Inventory Specialist to oversee the Spares Cycle Count and Inventory Control department, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management across TEB and external warehouses. This role is responsible for developing and executing scheduled and demand cycle counts for aviation spare parts, auditing inventory-related documents and procedures, and generating management reports that reflect cycle count results and audit findings. The supervisor will also support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations of the Spares Cycle Count and Inventory Control department. Develop and implement cycle count schedules and demand-based inventory checks. Audit inventory transactions, documentation, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy. Generate and present management reports detailing cycle count outcomes and audit results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve processes. Ensure inventory practices align with aviation industry standards and internal policies. Support ISO compliance and documentation efforts. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Required Qualifications College degree (preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory cycle count and inventory control. Minimum 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience. Strong understanding of cycle count procedures and inventory control principles. Experience with inventory ERP systems; SAP preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional Desired Qualifications SAP experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with ISO procedures. Aviation industry experience is a plus. The client offers medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, 401K and 20-30 days of PTO based on tenure.
Pay Details:
$77,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
