Die Cast Machine Operator
Join our team as a Die Cast Machine Operator where you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality aluminum and magnesium die cast parts. This position involves operating die casting machinery, performing visual inspections, and using plug gauges to ensure product quality. You will be producing parts for various industries including Medical, Automotive, and Power Sports. Responsibilities: Operate die casting machinery efficiently and safely. Inspect parts visually and with plug gauges after production. Produce quality parts for industries such as Medical, Automotive, and Power Sports. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Essential Skills: 6+ months of machine operating experience in a production setting. Experience in a die cast facility is preferred. Familiarity with inspection equipment, micrometers, and manufacturing processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in general labor, deburring, grinding, and manufacturing operations. Work Environment: Work in a facility that operates 24/7, producing die cast products from aluminum and magnesium. Expect to be on your feet all day in a safety-focused environment where safety glasses and ear plugs are mandatory. Though the work environment can be dirty and hot, the facility prides itself on being the cleanest die cast facility in the Twin Cities. Shifts available include a 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, a 2nd shift with a shift differential, and a weekend shift also with a differential. Overtime may be available on Fridays. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr.
