Weekend Nurse Supervisor - 12 hour shifts Starting Salary Range: $38.00 - $51.00 Our community in Holyoke, Massachusetts, offers independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for seniors. Essential Job Functions
Supervise nursing care in accordance with long-term care regulations. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures by nursing staff. Implement and oversee resident care plans. Conduct assessments and develop appropriate care plans for residents. Communicate effectively with residents, staff, families, and visitors. Keep the Director of Nursing (DON) informed about resident conditions. Investigate and document incidents/accidents thoroughly. Coordinate orientation and training for new nursing staff. Manage emergency situations appropriately. Participate in facility surveys and audits. Handle admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents. Complete necessary documentation and reports. Administer medications following physician orders, verifying resident identity. Maintain accurate narcotic records and report discrepancies. Adhere to safety and infection control policies, including proper hand hygiene and disposal procedures. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current Massachusetts RN or LPN license. Previous supervisory nursing experience preferred. CPR/BLS/AED and IV certification required.
