Overview
The Housing Development Financial Manager is a critical leadership position responsible for structuring, managing, and monitoring the financial components of housing development projects supported or facilitated by Charleston County. The position requires strong analytical skills to collect, interpret, and apply demographic, socioeconomic, and housing market data in support of housing investment decisions. The position works closely with the Director of Housing and Land Management while exercising considerable discretion and independence, often working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in housing finance, public and private-sector investment tools, data collection/analysis and an ability to navigate the complex intersection of real estate development, community needs, and public accountability. Salary
