As the MRI Technologist, you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This requires an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. You will support all imaging centers staffed by our organization, maintaining a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition. You must also apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. Your responsibilities include: Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of procedures performed Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations Perform accurate image archival Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media Sensitively handle the physical and emotional needs of patients Salary Range: $49.73 - $65.56 Hourly Qualifications

Please ensure your resume and application include all relevant certifications and licenses. Licenses: A combination of the ARRT and CRT is required, along with an MR certificate. OR a combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) is required. BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. Graduate from an AMA Radiologic Technologist Program is required. Venipuncture certificate is preferred. AA or BS degree is preferred. At least 1 year of MRI experience is preferred. Siemens experience is preferred. Ability to adapt to technological advancements and changing procedures. Ability to identify contraindications for exams. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes). Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology. Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
