Our growing agency needs a motivated and experienced Account Manager/Senior Account Executive to develop innovative marketing strategies and oversee a potential high education project for a prestigious public research institution with nearly 20,000 students. This is a high-visibility role managing an $11 million, 5-year marketing and advertising contract focused on enrollment marketing, brand development, and integrated campaign execution. As the primary point of contact and relationship owner, you will serve as an extension of the universitys internal Marketing and Communications team, coordinating all agency activities while driving measurable results in enrollment growth, brand awareness, and ROI optimization. Key Responsibilities

Primary Client Contact:

Serve as dedicated liaison for the Universitys marketing team with daily availability and weekly touchpoints Campaign Leadership:

Lead integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns from strategic brief through performance analysis and optimization Project Coordination:

Manage multiple concurrent projects across enrollment, athletics, and institutional marketing while ensuring quality and timeline adherence Budget & Billing Management:

Oversee budget optimization, separate tracking of creative hours vs. media costs, and compliance with university procurement requirements Strategic Partnership:

Collaborate with a 40-person internal team, participate in annual planning sessions, and provide strategic counsel on market trends and ROI optimization Qualifications

Minimum 7-10 years of account management experience in advertising/marketing agencies Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred) Proven track record managing large-scale client relationships ($5M+ annual budgets) Demonstrated success in higher education marketing (strongly preferred) Proven ability to present strategic recommendations to C-level executives Experience with enrollment marketing and student recruitment campaigns Background in crisis communications and reputation management Background managing integrated campaigns across digital, traditional, and experimental channels Higher Education Expertise

Deep understanding of higher education marketing challenges and opportunities Knowledge of student recruitment cycles, application processes, and enrollment marketing Familiarity with higher education compliance requirements and institutional governance Experience working with academic stakeholders including admissions, communications, and executive leadership This position represents a cornerstone opportunity for an experienced account management professional to lead a flagship client relationship while making a meaningful impact on higher education access and opportunity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
