Join our imaging team as a
Nuclear Medicine Technologist , performing diagnostic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to evaluate organ function, capture diagnostic imagery, and analyze biologic specimens. Youll work efficiently with diverse patient populationsfrom pediatrics to geriatricsensuring compassionate, respectful care. Responsibilities
Executing physician-prescribed imaging studies using state-of-the-art nuclear medicine equipment Safely preparing radiopharmaceuticals, calibrating imaging devices, and precisely positioning patients Producing high-quality diagnostic images across modalities such as SPECT and planar imaging Collaborating with radiologists and clinical teams to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment Accurate and timely documentation in Cerner, maintaining compliance with regulatory and departmental standards Compensation & Contract Details
Contract role offering competitive hourly pay of $50-55/hr. Travel package available for candidates not local to the area. Full-time schedule: 4 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM5:00 PM). Workload includes 1315 patients per day, rotating across inpatient, outpatient, and ER departments in a three-room unit. Must-Have Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience Proficient in IV starts, PACS, and routine nuclear medicine protocols Hands-on experience with the following procedures:
Cardiac studies (e.g. myocardial perfusion imaging) Bone scanning Liver/spleen imaging Lung ventilation/perfusion (V/Q) scans Thyroid uptake and imaging Tumor localization
Strong documentation skills using Cerner Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) ARRT(N) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), preferred but not required
Preferred Experience & Equipment
Additional procedural experience is a plus:
Brain scans Renal flow studies SPECT imaging
Familiarity with Siemens nuclear medicine systems preferred Job Details
