$2,650.00- $2,728.00 Weekly DOE Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to be responsible for the preparation and administration of radioactive drugs. Nuclear medicine technologist's responsibilities include operating imaging equipment and ensuring the safety of all medical staff and patients from unnecessary radiation exposure. Job Responsibilities
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (oral, injection, inhalation). Explain procedures, answer patient questions, and ensure comfort/positioning. Operate PET and SPECT imaging equipment. Process images for brain, thyroid, bone, heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver. Monitor patients for reactions to radioactive drugs. Maintain accurate records of radiopharmaceuticals and procedures. Produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Follow radiation safety protocols for staff and patients. Maintain and inspect imaging equipment. Stay updated on advances and innovations in nuclear medicine. Required Certification & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience Required Procedure Experience: Cardiac, Bone Scan, Liver/Spleen Scan, Lung Scan, Thyroid Studies, Tumor Localization, Myocardial Preferred Procedure Experience: Brain Scan, Renal Flow, SPECT Documentation: Cerner BLS and ARRT (N) or NMTCB required About Pride Health
