Runs, terminates, and labels cables according to project requirements and industry standards. Performs regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality and reliability. Identifies and resolves issues in low voltage systems promptly to minimize downtime. Fixes faults or damages to restore optimal operation. Provides technical support and training to end users on operating and maintaining low voltage systems. Ensures installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations. Follows safety guidelines and maintains records of installations, maintenance, and repairs; generates reports on system performance and activities. Collaborates with technicians, engineers, and project managers to complete projects successfully. Communicates with clients to understand needs and provide solutions; stays informed on industry trends and best practices. Travel : Travels domestically to multiple facilities; may require overnight stays occasionally. Not required for extended durations except for management training or emergencies. Minimum Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Experience with local electrical codes and standards. Preferred Qualifications : Training or certification in low voltage systems. BICSI Installer Certification. CompTIA networking certifications (e.g., Network+). Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Honeywell, Axis, Bosch). OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification/training.
