Supervisor, Oncology Nursing - TCT Infusion
OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY: Supervises and leads operations for an outpatient transplant and cellular therapy infusion clinic; preferred Bone Marrow Transplant and oncology experience. RN leader to supervise, lead and grow operations. Prior supervisory experience of 1 year preferred. Clinical experience in hematology, BMT or oncology outpatient operations preferred. Direct reporting structure includes CMOA and infusion RNs. Specialty certification in oncology required. Must be a quick learner, growth oriented, excited to study and implement new therapies, partner with leaders to build high performing teams, strong collaborator, with sharp focus in service and quality of patient care. Responsibilities
Oversees and/or teaches others specialized knowledge and skills necessary to perform techniques and routines in area of specialty. Provides operational management of daily patient care services. Assesses, monitors, and evaluates systems for delivery of care. Assists in development of patient care standards of practice and personnel performance. Designs, executes, and delivers effective system of internal controls applicable and in compliance to laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures. Facilitates teamwork through planned group processes (workshops, seminars, and staff meetings). Supervises nursing staff and/or other non-licensed medical or office support personnel. May provide direct patient care. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Required
Education: Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Experience: 5 years of general nursing to include 1 year of supervisory experience. Licenses and Certifications: RN licensure in Texas; BLS required upon hire. Preferred
Education: BSN Experience: Oncology experience;
