Overview
Our client is looking for an SAP EWM Functional Analyst - Level 3 to join their team. You will collaborate with business partners to align technology solutions with business strategies. This role is responsible for gathering requirements, leading design and providing guidance on recommendations; collaborating with the business on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance them; advising on system options, risk, cost vs. benefits and impacts; ensuring all systems are aligned with the IT long term strategy; identifying, recommending and implementing complex configuration solutions and implementing full cycle configuration to meet business needs, while creating and updating documentation; setting testing strategy for modules and leading end-to-end integration testing; participating in the delivery of projects and releases; troubleshooting and leading evaluation and design of corrections for complex incidents; maintaining a high level of functional competency regarding standard configuration of SAP EWM and staying abreast of new trends and best practices. Responsibilities Participate in gathering requirements, including leading, designing and providing guidance on recommendations. Collaborate with the business on current processes and propose solutions to enhance current processes, advising on system options, risk, cost vs. benefits and impacts. Ensure all systems are aligned with the IT long term strategy. Identify, recommend and implement complex configuration solutions; implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation. Set testing strategy for modules and lead end-to-end integration testing. Participate in the delivery of project and minor/major releases. Troubleshoot and lead evaluation and design of corrections for complex incidents. Maintain a high level of functional competency regarding standard configuration of SAP EWM and stay abreast of new trends and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree (or foreign educational equivalent) or equivalent based on education and/or experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain Management gathering requirements, including configuring and customizing in EWM. Minimum 3 years of experience in ECC MM/WM. Minimum 1 full lifecycle implementation in SAP EWM. Good understanding and working experience in warehouse processes and logistics execution. Strong SAP EWM SME with knowledge of Inbound Processing, Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, HU Management, Transportation Units, Production Integration. Experience communicating technical and business issues/solutions to all levels, including management. Experience in integration of EWM with automated warehouse (ASRS) integration preferred. Experience in SAP EWM latest versions (9.5 / S/4HANA) preferred. Experience in SAP PP/SD, preferred. Experience in SolMan - ChaRM, preferred. Experience in industry solution AFS (Apparel Footwear Solution), preferred. SAP certification(s), preferred.
