Overview

Heartland is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, recruit and lead a smaller sales team, and build relationships with business owners and referral partners. This role combines direct sales with leadership responsibilities and a consultative approach to selling Payroll/HCM solutions to merchants in target verticals. Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth by acquiring net new business from prospects and leading a sales team. Set appointments with business owners and conduct scheduled presentations using Atlas, Heartland's tablet-based CRM platform. Uncover needs, present Heartland solutions, and close sales in target verticals (restaurants, retail, medical, manufacturing, lodging, auto repair, salons, and more). Train, coach, and supervise Relationship Managers and sales reps, helping them achieve sales goals. Use a consultative sales process and coordinate with the Division Manager to optimize sales activities. Recruit, hire, and grow the sales team and manage field sales activities from a home office. Maintain scheduling flexibility and maximize residuals from the business you bring in. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications : 18 years of age or older Valid Drivers License Successful completion of pre-employment background check Completion of mandatory drug screening around day 60 of employment Must live in the area relative to the job posting location Compensation & Benefits
