Position Overview As a Remote Support Engineer in the New York/NJ area, you will be responsible for overseeing critical IT system as well as managing security software, automating software deployments, and supporting Mac and Windows environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Mac administration, security software management, and automated deployment solutions. Key Responsibilities Administer and manage JumpCloud (highly preferred) or similar identity and access management platforms like Okta or Jamf. Oversee and troubleshoot Bitdefender security software across Mac and Windows devices. Support and maintain IT systems, with a strong focus on Mac administration (most clinics use Mac). Develop and implement automated software deployment solutions for Mac and Windows devices. Ensure IT security policies and best practices are enforced across all locations. Provide remote support and troubleshooting for veterinary clinic staff as needed. Monitor system performance and proactively address potential IT issues. Qualifications Experience with JumpCloud (preferred) or Okta/similar IAM platforms. Strong knowledge of Mac administration (required), with experience in Windows as well. Proficiency in automating software deployment on Mac and Windows devices. Experience managing security software, especially Bitdefender. Familiarity with IT security best practices and troubleshooting methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment. Seniority level
