PRNMRI Technologist

Position Goal:
To perform advanced imaging procedures using radio frequency waves and magnetic fields with high technical skill. Position Responsibilities: Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images per physician protocols. Ensure patient comfort and safety, providing reassurance and support. Prepare images, patient history, and paperwork for radiologists, utilizing fax and teleradiology services. Administer contrast material injections. Maintain MRI room supplies and cleanliness. Complete all required documentation and use computer applications effectively. Ensure image quality standards are met. Manage PACS systems and assist staff as needed. Enter MRI reports into patient records accurately. Experience: Preferred:
Two years of MRI experience. Education: Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of ARRT-approved radiologic technology coursework. Special Qualifications: BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy. Basic computer and administrative skills. Ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal skills. Preferred:
