The Assistant Nurse Manager has the authority, responsibility, and accountability for the nursing administration of a patient care area during an assigned shift. This individual will focus on maintaining the continuity and quality of care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The role requires initiative and shared responsibility with the management team to meet patient care goals in a designated clinical area. Promoting team unity and collaboration is essential. Qualifications: Masters Degree preferred, or B.S.N. or evidence of academic progress toward B.S.N. Current licensure with the State of Rhode Island as a registered nurse. Ability to lift approximately fifty pounds.
