Front-End Software Engineer - level 3 or 4 R10207154-2 at Northrop Grumman. Join to apply for this role within the Payload and Ground Systems division of Space Systems Sector. The team supports a Ground program and works in an Agile environment with two programs under a single baseline. Office-based role with 2-week sprints for 3-month increments. Responsibilities

Design, develop, document, refactor, test, and debug applications software for a Ground Segment. Work on tasking and scheduling software as part of the Processing Team. Collaborate on an Agile team, using the Atlassian tool suite, to deliver software in 2-week sprints and 3-month increments. Operate independently in a dynamic environment with minimal oversight, reporting to leads and the customer as needed. Contribute to diverse assignments with efficient solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. Basic Qualifications

Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) at time of application; US citizenship required. Experience levels vary by level: Level 3 (Principal): 5 years with a bachelors, 3 years with a masters, 1 year with a PhD, 7 years with an associate, or 9 years with no degree (high school or equivalent). Level 4 (Sr Principal): 8 years with a bachelors, 6 years with a masters, 4 years with a PhD, 10 years with an associate, or 12 years with no degree (high school or equivalent). Relevant experience on the below: front-end GUI design and implementation, strong Java experience, web frameworks (React, Vue), and working with a geographically distributed team. Location and Schedule

This position can be located in Morrisville, NC; Fairfax, VA; or Linthicum, MD. The role requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work. Typical scheduling can align with a 9/80 work schedule where applicable; specific arrangements may be determined at hire. Preferred Qualifications

STEM degree. Proficient with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket). Proficient with NodeJS framework; familiar with Keycloak. Experience with Agile methodologies, software design, unit testing, Kubernetes, Docker, microservice architecture, and object-oriented design. Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. Salary and Benefits

Primary salary range: $100,300.00 $165,500.00; Secondary range: $124,900.00 $206,000.00. Salary offers depend on the scope of responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
