$25-35 Hourly Responsibilities
Program and commission newly installed fire alarm systems. Layout, assemble, and install low-voltage equipment in compliance with applicable codes and manufacturer requirements. Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing of fire alarm systems. Identify and diagnose system issues and provide timely solutions. Complete and submit detailed status and completion reports for customers. Educate customers on system maintenance and operation. Provide oversight and guidance to helpers and/or installers as needed. Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience with fire alarm system installation, inspection, and service. NICET Level II certification in Fire Alarm Systems required. FASA/BASA certification preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in electrical/electronics is a plus). Proficient in reading blueprints and product manuals. Working knowledge of test equipment, communication devices, and Windows-based software. Excellent communication, planning, and troubleshooting skills. Strong sense of responsibility, pride in work, and ability to work independently and outdoors. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving and criminal record. Why Wiginton
