Location: 330 Madison (NYC) Onsite The Desktop Support Technician role presents an opportunity to solve problems of moderate to high complexity without help and escalate very complex problems to more senior staff. Requirements: 5 years Desktop Support Experience Strong in troubleshooting, team player attitude, good communication. Office 5 days onsite. Responsibilities
Provide technical support for users of desktop hardware and software; users can be in remote locations. Troubleshoot application issues including viruses, hard disk diagnostics and file repair, data encryption, and SMS reporting. Troubleshoot printers and copier interfaces. Track and resolve incidents and requests in an incident management system. Perform a variety of support activities including inventory and coordination with outside technology vendors. Work overtime hours, weekend hours and on-call hours as required. Skills & experience required
Two-four years of experience configuring, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing printers, PC and laptops. Strong technical knowledge of Windows 7 & 10, Microsoft Office 2013-365 products, Market Data Applications (ex. Bloomberg) and telephony systems Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop computer issues, both hardware and software Experience with supporting mobile devices. Ideal candidate attributes
