Sales Development Representative
Base Compensation is $60k-$65k with over $100k OTE for High Performers.
The SDR is a full-time, remote position. The candidate must be based in North Carolina.
Description:
A Raleigh, NC - based, Inc. 500 company, provides a disruptive technology platform for online
auctions. The company is seeking a responsible and motivated self-starter to find and screen
potential customers who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of
communication with a prospect, the ideal Sales Development Representative (SDR) has a strong
understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and
setting up sales closers for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong
communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential
customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and
profitability.
This is a remote / hybrid position. The candidate must be based in the Raleigh, North Carolina area.
Responsibilities:
Make 40 calls per day and send follow up emails from a curated list of prospective customers.
Perform thorough discovery to learn about the businesses of each prospect you speak to.
Educate potential customers about the benefits of the company's online auction solution.
Set up an average of 3 attended sales demonstrations per week for company’s sales executives.
Qualifications:
1 year of sales experience. Prior software sales experience preferred but not required.
Ability to make high volume outbound metrics: Cold calling, email, etc.
Ambition that is internally motivated.
Strong communication skills via phone and email.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
