Sales Development Representative


  • Base Compensation is $60k-$65k with over $100k OTE for High Performers.

  • The SDR is a full-time, remote position. The candidate must be based in North Carolina.


Description:


A Raleigh, NC - based, Inc. 500 company, provides a disruptive technology platform for online

auctions. The company is seeking a responsible and motivated self-starter to find and screen

potential customers who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of

communication with a prospect, the ideal Sales Development Representative (SDR) has a strong

understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and

setting up sales closers for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong

communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential

customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and

profitability.


This is a remote / hybrid position. The candidate must be based in the Raleigh, North Carolina area.


Responsibilities:

  • Make 40 calls per day and send follow up emails from a curated list of prospective customers.

  • Perform thorough discovery to learn about the businesses of each prospect you speak to.

  • Educate potential customers about the benefits of the company's online auction solution.

  • Set up an average of 3 attended sales demonstrations per week for company’s sales executives.


Qualifications:

  • 1 year of sales experience. Prior software sales experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to make high volume outbound metrics: Cold calling, email, etc.

  • Ambition that is internally motivated.

  • Strong communication skills via phone and email.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
