Hiring Range: $71,304.00 - 85,564.80 Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Position may be eligible for a flexible work schedule with Director approval, but is not guaranteed. Devoted to providing technical support, administration, and maintenance of a departments technology systems and equipment, including user support, data management, and data extraction/analysis. Responsible for providing advanced professional analysis and project management on technology and related initiatives including researching and evaluating new processes and technologies; providing fiscal analyses for purchases and assisting with budget development and administration for department technology; overseeing the technology procurement process; serving as project manager for implementation, testing and close out; preparing project plans; troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software; providing training; extracting data, creating maps, and writing reports; coordinating with vendors; designing, developing, and maintaining databases and web pages; and maintaining documentation and records. Provides advanced professional analysis and project management on technology and related initiatives; work involves managing projects, including preparing project scopes, developing work plans, and mitigating risks; analyzing business and technology needs; testing, reviewing, and evaluating systems; designing and implementing technology solutions; designing, developing, and maintaining specialized databases; coordinating and performing technology support operations; troubleshooting related issues; and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. Administers the procurement process for technology projects; assists with developing and administering budgets; researches and evaluates new technology systems and products; researches, analyzes, and reports on financial, vendor, and related data; prepares cost estimates and financial forecasts; and makes budget- and procurement recommendation. Prepares, maintains, reviews, and/or submits reports, project and other plans, contracts, bid documents, maps, records, presentations, and other documents; designs, develops, and maintains databases and webpages; researches, compiles, extracts, digitizes, and presents information; and reviews work for accuracy, completeness and compliance with contracts, and applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Collaborates with vendors, City management, City departments, and/or external agencies; convenes, attends and facilitates meetings; provides technical assistance and subject-matter expertise in person, via phone or online systems; prepares and conducts training; assesses and/or coordinates technology, business, and/or project needs and operations; coordinates and conducts product demos and trials; and implements new technologies and processes.

Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or directly related field

OR

equivalent experience. Five years of related professional information technology or computer science experience.

Two or more years of Criminal Justice information technology experience. One or more years of experience creating policy and procedures for an organization. One or more years of Records Management experience.
