About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Instruction to serve as the chief instructional officer and provide strategic leadership in all aspects of academic affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing innovative programs to enhance the student learning environment. The Vice President will be a key figure in the College's governance, representing the institution in the community, and fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Applicants for the Vice President, Instruction position at the company must have a Master's degree from an accredited institution, with a preference for those holding a Doctorate. A minimum of 5 years' college-level instructional administrative experience and 3 years' of college-level teaching experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students and employees, as well as knowledge of the mission, programs, and policies of the California Community Colleges. The role demands strong leadership, management, and communication skills, the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, and a commitment to a learner-centered instructional program.
