Duration: September 22, 2025 February 13, 2026 Position Type: Contract, Leave Replacement Caseload: Preschool (PreK) Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to preschool children with disabilities. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams and families. Utilize evidence-based strategies to address learning and behavioral challenges specific to young learners. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches to meet individual needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Serve as the Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) by assessing and advising on students with learning disabilities. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certification as a Special Education Teacher with endorsement or experience as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC). Experience working effectively with preschool-aged children with disabilities. Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention strategies, and early childhood special education. Excellent communication skills for working with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to tailor instruction to meet diverse learner needs and developmental levels.
