A unique opportunity is available for a skilled Special Education Teacher or Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) to support preschool-aged students with disabilities. This contract position will cover a maternity leave in a K-12 school, providing specialized instruction to students in prekindergarten.

Duration: September 22, 2025 February 13, 2026 Position Type: Leave Contract Student Caseload: Preschool (PreK) Responsibilities include: Delivering individualized and group instruction tailored to preschool children with disabilities Collaborating with families, teachers, and school staff to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies to meet developmental needs Providing consultation on learning disabilities and educational strategies for young learners Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations Preferred qualifications: Current certification as a Special Education Teacher or Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) Experience working with preschool-aged children with disabilities Familiarity with early childhood intervention techniques and special education laws Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs in an inclusive classroom setting This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact during a critical period of early development.
