A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting in Milwaukee, WI. This contract role focuses on supporting students occupational therapy needs, requiring travel to multiple school locations. The position offers a dynamic opportunity to apply skills in both school-based and teletherapy environments. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students, addressing fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and functional skills. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to support student progress remotely. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions based on individual needs. Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions both in-person and via telehealth platforms. Qualifications & Experience: Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure. Experience in pediatric occupational therapy within school, home health, or teletherapy settings. Strong knowledge of fine motor and gross motor skill development. Ability to travel to various school sites within the district. Excellent communication and collaborative skills for working effectively with school staff and families.
