Soliant
Soliant is actively seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly motivated Special Education Teacher to join our dedicated educational team. This position is designed for a professional who is passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments and committed to providing individualized support to students with a variety of disabilities. The teacher will work in one school building, serving a caseload of 15 to 20 students across multiple disability categories, ensuring each student receives the specialized instruction and services they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, following state and federal guidelines. Provide high-quality, evidence-based instruction to students with disabilities in both small group and one-on-one settings.
Student Support & Advocacy: Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior, independence, and academic achievement. Collaborate closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to advocate for student needs and monitor progress.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with general education teachers, related service providers (such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and counselors), administrators, and families to ensure a coordinated approach to instruction and support.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student progress, IEP documentation, assessments, and other required reports in compliance with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and state education regulations.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional learning to stay current with best practices, instructional strategies, and state mandates in special education.
Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License or eligibility to obtain licensure
Demonstrated experience working with a diverse caseload of students with disabilities, including but not limited to learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, intellectual disabilities, and physical impairments
Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
Ability to design and implement effective, differentiated instruction to meet individual student needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with families, staff, and community partners
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and supportive learning environment
Work Environment:
